| Economists are wont to say that the success of our economy depends on sound financial management: if a society takes care of its management of the economy, then it will be able to create the resources needed to nurture the health of society and the people within it. |

| I created Learning for Life (Consulting) Ltd because my experience as a consultant, trainer and coach told me something different: that the health of a society and of individuals within a society is the driver for economic success, rather than the result of sound financial management. During almost 20 years of working with leaders and other individuals in a wide range of organisations, I have been able to observe how we have all the resources we need to succeed, and need only access those resources in order to liberate out full potential. It is this individual ability to access our resources and resourcefulness that leads both to improved personal and organisational performance and to greater personal satisfaction. I believe it is our success in liberating this potential that helps us to generate the wealth needed to sustain successful organisational performance and a healthy economy and I continue to enjoy working with individuals and organisations to support their efforts to this end. |

| More recently, it has been my privilege to engage directly with schools and the organisations that support them. Since much of an individual's experience as an adult is a reflection of his or her learning and experience whilst at school, we need, as a society, to help students to prepare not just to pass exams but also to manage their lives and careers. To achieve this, we need to support teachers, support staff, school managers and headteachers in liberating their own potential, so that they can achieve the levels of personal satisfaction needed to sustain effective performance, to inspire our young people, and to help students to prepare for their adult lives. At Learning for Life (Consulting) Ltd it gives me great pleasure to work directly with students, with schools, and with the organisations that support them. |

| As Managing Director of Learning for Life (Consulting) Ltd, I take pride in working closely with my clients: to listen to and understand their needs, and to explore with clients how best to meet their needs, so that both Learning for Life and the company's clients can feel confident that our work together will really make a difference. To this end, I work both directly and personally with my clients and - when a larger team is required - with colleagues who are carefully chosen from a group of associates. |
